Stage 4 Plus is the ultimate performance package for your Janus Halcyon 250. This is the famed Stage 4 kit plus the performance carburetor package and performance clutch springs. This kit includes everything you need to turn your stock 229cc engine into a very powerful and reliable 250cc beast. This is not a race engine, MotoCult designed Stage 4 to deliver smooth and predictable power throughout the entire RPM range. Imagine reaching speeds of over 75MPH with ease, yep, it is now possible with this kit. The exhaust for this kit fits perfectly on a Halcyon 250 but it will work on a Phoenix or Gryffin with a few simple parts from Janus.
Don't forget to add the crank shaft seal installation tool or the complete tool kit to your cart.
This kit will greatly increase the space between shifting points.
Shifting points:
First to second gear 0-23 MPH
Second to third gear 23-43 MPH
Third to fourth gear 43-63 MPH
Fourth to fifth gear 63-73 MPH
Fifth gear 73-80+ MPH

This kit includes:
-28mm perfomance Nibbi carburetor, 10 main jets, 10 pilot jets, silicone air box coupler, and a throttle cable that is made for this carburetor on a Halcyon.
-Six performance clutch springs
-A true 250cc power cylinder with piston, rings, wrist pin, and clips. Did you know that your stock CG250 is actually only 229cc? This piston and cylinder will increase your displacement by nearly 10%
-NEW! 16mm length location dowels
-Oil cooler with precut hoses and custom brackets for your specific frame
-Ported, polished and flowed performance head
-Full stainless steel performance exhaust
-Stainless steel head gasket
-Stage 4 enamel badge
-Composite base gasket
-292 Power cam (cam is already installed in gear)
-Deluxe stock exhaust gasket
-Magneto puller tool
-Deluxe valve cover gasket
-Crankshaft seal (you will need to remove your old one to line up the new cam gear)
-43T rear sprocket.
-Stainless steel riser plate for the rocker box. This plate allows you to keep the push rods at stock length.
I love the Stage 4+ upgrade. The bike has better torque and power response. The top end is also higher. My Halcyon was the1st Stage 4+ upgrade I got. I loved it so much I knew when I got the Phoenix that the Stage 4+ was going to be a required upgrade.
What's to say except this is NOT the same bike! More responsive. More power. More speed. Just as much reliability. Devin is a brilliant young engineer and technician. I highly recommend this kit and having Devin do the installation. 10 stars. Unlimited smiles!

Well, I purchased and had a Janus Halcyon 250 built brand new. At the beginning of the build process, I (like most Janus patrons) dug deeper into the reviews. I noticed many “issues” that riders had with the EPA compliant aspects of the bike. I was very put off by this…….THEN, I discovered Devin’s MotoCult upgrade solutions! I didn’t even have to think twice about having Devin pick up my brand new Halcyon 250 when it was done, to bring it over to MotoCult and personally add “The Full Monty” (all available upgrades) to my bike. I didn’t care if I would have to pay for my own shipping. It was well worth having my bike with all of his available upgrades AND the personal expertise of Devin, himself bringing out the FULL POTENTIAL of my Halcyon 250. Alas, I will never know the tribulations of the “EPA induced saga” and personally, I don’t care to. Meet “Nightingale”! Thanks Devin! Salud! (All I need now is a T-shirt!)
