Janus 450 Stock Tune (Phoenix • Griffin • Halcyon)
Fix the Mid-Range. Make the Bike Feel Right.
If your Janus 450 feels like it has a dead spot, pulsing, or hesitation in the middle of the RPM range—you’re not imagining it.
That’s coming from the factory fueling.
What’s Going On (Simple Version)
We ran a stock Janus 450 on the dyno.
The engine is running too rich in the mid-range
- Around 4,000–6,000 RPM,
- the air/fuel ratio is about 11–12:1
In plain terms:
It’s getting more fuel than it needs.
How That Feels When You Ride
That extra fuel causes:
- A pulsing or surging feeling
- Sluggish throttle response
- A “flat” spot in the power
- Uneven acceleration
Right in the RPM range you use the most.
What This Tune Does
This plug-and-play tuner corrects that fueling.
You’ll Feel:
- Smoother power through the mid-range
- Better throttle response
- More consistent acceleration
- A bike that just feels “right”
Plug & Play — No Hassle
- Installs in under 5 minutes
- Plugs directly into your injector connector
- No permanent changes to the bike
Fitment
- Designed for stock Janus 450 bikes only
- (Phoenix, Griffin, Halcyon)
- Not for bikes with performance exhausts
FAQ (Straight Answers)
Q: Will this hurt my engine?
No. This tune is designed to improve how the engine runs—not stress it.
Q: Is this hard to install?
No. If you can plug in a connector, you can install this. It takes about 5 minutes.
Q: Do I need to adjust anything after installing it?
No. It’s fully plug-and-play.
Q: Will this work with an aftermarket exhaust?
No. This version is for stock bikes only. A performance version is coming.
Q: What’s the biggest difference I’ll notice?
The mid-range smoothness. The bike will feel more responsive and consistent instead of pulsing or hesitating.
Bottom Line
The engine is solid.
The fueling just needs help.
This fixes it.
